tap-tap-tap-"Is this thing on??"
I don't know if anyone is still out there checking this. Mostly everyone has been incommunicado. I thought I would post a little ditty and see what comes back.
So we've added two new pygmy goats to our petting zoo. Their names are Forrest and Pepe. Our lonely nubian goat, Coal, is very happy to have new friends as goats are extremely social creatures. Who knew? I can hear Diana reciting the poem now...
My boys are great, about to test for their blue belts in tae kwon do. I have begun tae kwon do myself, and my boys are quite excited about being able to teach me everything they know. It's fun!
I'm ready for the weather to change, how about you?
Everyone losing their asses in the NCAA playoff brackets?? Lots of upsets this year. There have been some really great games so far.
Anyone coming home for Easter? Email or call if you're coming up I-65 on Friday and would like to stop by. I should be home all day after 10am, I've got beer and sodas and clean bathrooms. :) rebecca.crum@gmail.com or 219-345-4428. It's my birthday weekend, so I will start drinking dirty martinis on Thursday night during the games. Yay for me!
Monica - what's up with the job hunt? CALL ME.
Have a great day everyone!

Well, I'm still an idiot. Can't seem to post....again. I have no idea what has happened.
I haven't been checking the site as often as I used to--got really busy at work, which is a good thing since I started this new job and I'm building my patient base from the ground up. I've played a little phone tag with Robin regarding the possibility of a summer "who-ha"--hope to see some of your mugs if we have a get-together.
I'm going to the women's final 4 this weekend in Indy. I lost in Chuck's office pool for the men's tournament. Some really great games--very exciting.
Rebecca--my mom tells me that Julie Anton Braveman shops at Jewel and comes through her check-out line all the time. My mom digs this (let Julie know) and I think it's too cool. Makes my mom's day.
I was up at Easter, but I was very limited with my time. I hadn't been up "thar" since Xmas, so I had to see family. I didn't get in until Saturday evening, hung out with Chuck's side, then spend Easter with my side and headed back to Kokomo. That was about it.
Chuck and I are in thr process of buying some land and building a house. We found two acres of semi-wooded land with a creek in our future back yard. We meet with our builder next week to discus the house plans and our ideas. I've always wanted a "secret" or hidden room. I think that would be cool. Oh, yeah, walk in closets, too. I'd also like an "all season's room" or Florida room--with a hot tub. We'll see how the planning goes, and I'll keep you guys updated on the scarey details.
I'm umpiring in a national softball tournament this year in Kentucky, too. This is a pretty big deal, and a high honor. So, I'm pretty jazzed about that. Football starts up in May, and with it, the bruises. I look good in black and blue, so what am I worried about? As long as I keep all of my teeth for the season I'll be impressed. I took out some AFLAC accident insurance for football season, so if I get hurt, an annoying duck will bring me some money. How cool is that?
OK, so you lurkers out there....and you know who you are...How the heck are YOU? Let us know. I loved hearing from everyone before and during the holidays, and you know I'd love to hear how life is now.
Diana
Darling Diana -
You crack me up. I will pass along that information to Julie.
Keep me posted on summer "who-ha's"...
Still computer stupid here, but who cares.
Just thought I'd see who's still around. I can't make my own original post, so one of you geniouses out there go for it.
OK, so I'm umpiring last night and I got clocked in the face with a ball. Split the inside of my lip open. I'm OK--finished 2 games before meeting Chuck at the ER. No stitches (too high of an infection risk inside the mouth per the ER doc--is this right other docs out there?--really thought I should have been sewn up as I had a huge crater in my cheek).
Football has started. It's hard work, but I love my team. Check out my team's web page--my team's name is Indiana Speed--use that as a search word and you'll find us.
I'm going to the Indy 500 for the first time. I know nothing about it other than I should plan on bringing sun screen and ear plugs. Can't wait!!
How's everone else doing??
Diana
