Love the holidays...glad they are OVER

There's nothing quite like burning your Christmas tree and wreath in the backyard...the real variety of course. It personally gives me a great sense of closure to the crazy holiday season...Die you tiresome water-hogging beast...DIE!

How did everyone fare over the holidays? My youngest son declared it the "best Christmas ever, even if I didn't get most of the stuff on my list"...Santa Claus overrode most of his decisions. And it actually worked out pretty well. 3 out of 4 of his favorite gifts were not on his list...SCORE! One of them was an authentic NFL jersey - Indianapolis Colts Edgerrin James. My 8-year-old, it seems, wants to be a running back when he gets older, and the Edge is his man. I have to beg him not to wear it every day.

Melissa - North Newton has a speech and debate program??? Who knew?

Overall, though, we had quite the holiday season, eating and drinking with friends and co-workers every night of the week pre-Christmas. NYE found me at Julie (Anton) Braveman's house with all 3 Anton brothers...it was quite the evening.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy and sticking to their resolutions...

So I decide to search for myself, I felt lost after seeing Indiana lose to Michigan State, and I find this blog. I hope that someone reads this and invites me. I have never blogged before... though there was that drunken night a few years back... . My email is bencietech@myvine.com.

Long of the short?
Went to Valparaiso University (EE degree), man those where crazy days. Moved to Chicago in '97??, which is the last time I saw Melissa and Lis at the Gingerman. The GMan is a bar next door to the Metro(concert place) just up the street from Wrigley Field. My apartment was a block from the ballpark. In '99 I bought a place, still a block from the ballpark. Traffic can be a bi#ch (why I blocked the t and not the i is beyond me), but it's a fun place to live when your liver still works. That's the teaser for the fun stuff.
Job, guess you want to know about the boring stuff too, huh?
Worked for Motorola, Midway Games, WMS Gaming, and now for myself, Bencietechnologies, LLC (gotta say the legal crap). Real orginal on the name, huh?

Well, this is getting long and I'm not even sure it's gonna let me post it. More to come soon. It's been way to long since I have seen or talked to you all.
M Bencie
